2015 leaving the solo artist path to queer community work
2018-2022 working as a PA for people with disabilities
since 2022 living with the chronic disease ME/CFS.
Content_
My first public work was a self-built "natural history museum" about "homosexualities" in the animal kingdom; a multi-media sculpture reminiscent of a Trojan horse. After that, I mainly made (installative) videos; queer perspectives on body constructions and role perceptions, including a film about female conductors; a film about a woman* at the academy.I have dealt with 'critical whiteness' and have spent the last few years researching forms of discrimination within historical Austrian and German women's movements and within early queer historiographies. My long-term film research on the fascist queer Vorarlberg painter Hollenstein was interrupted for the time being due to my illness.
